Eat lots of gelato in Rome for me. :D My favorite place was San Crispino near the Trevi fountain. Grom near Il Duomo in Florence was fantastic as well, and there's a branch in NYC (it's better in Italy, btw, so enjoy it while you're there). haha. Have fun!
:]]]
il gelato di san crispino is indigenous to italy, i heard; there are now Groms all over the world, including one or two in NYC, so i'd stick with the former that (the other) christine mentions, not that i've been to italy or anything. haha.
prague is gorgeous, and a day is enough to take in everything you want to see from it, i think.
1. see the astronomical clock
2. eat the trdelnik at the old town square (http://www.potatomato.com/blog/?p=1184).
the castle is nice too; if you're into history and take a tour of the castle, they will point out the window where the defenestration occurred (at least they did when i was there).
but mostly it's fun to just poke around old city because it's so quaint. and it's beautiful at night when you walk along the charles bridge over the moldau. :]]]
Soo jealous. Hf bro. Take tons of pictures lol
And uhhh remember, 6 months brotha. 6 months. LOL
Spend more time in Florence and less in Venice.
-amelia (creeping on your blog!!)
Jason I'm super jealous! Have tons of fun and be safe!
what HYUN SAID!
have fun mann
BTW, you all, like the enlightened people you are, probably have extensive knowledge of the best places to see and things to do, but I'm so excited that someone else is going back to Italy that I can't help but butt in with a few more suggestions: if you're going to go to just one museum in Rome, the Borghese museum is worth it. You probably know about the Roma pass, and that it allows you free admission to two museums and unlimited metro access, and that most people use it on the Borghese and the Coliseum because they're the most expensive. Since it seems like Ellen likes her coffee from the video, there's also this great coffee place called Tazza D'Oro near the Pantheon that has fantastic coffee and a frozen coffee granita that's really famous. Four really good meals I remember having: Del Fagoli (Florence, near Santa Croce church), Matricianella (Rome, near Spanish Steps area), Forno Campo de' Fiori or Forno Marco Roscoli's pizza bianca (near Campo de' Fiori), Armando Al Pantheon (near the Pantheon, of course). Also, gigantic bottles of water are sold for .45 euros in the supermarkets, so if you're like my parents and don't trust their fountain water (though it seems like you guys have no qualms about that, heh), don't get it from the street vendors who quadruple the prices. And how exactly do you find the time to edit videos during your vacation? In any case, keep enjoying Europe guys :D.
