Life is so much more interesting with a soundtrack. Throughout my life, so many of my memories and phases are associated with a particular song. Sometimes the songs are so powerful/memorable that they can bring you right back to that particular moment or time. Here are a couple of tracks from my life.
Elementary School = Waterfalls - TLC
JCA Summer School '04 @ Stanford = Hey Juliet - LMNT
Middle School = Crash and Burn - Savage Garden
Freshmen year = Changes - 2Pac
Korea Summer '06 = Butterfly Grave - TAKE
I spent this week in Puerto Rico for Spring Break and I'd probably say that the soundtrack for the week for me was "Where Are You" by Andy Grammer. This guy is pretty sick, I saw him live in concert and was impressed enough to buy his cd. And slowly he grows on you.
While that was the song that captures my spring break trip, this next one "Numbers" has a great message and is probably one of my favorites. Make sure to listen carefully to the lyrics.

jase, I thought that it was due to cognitive dissonance that everyone started to really like Andy Grammar ("ok, I just listened to this same guy for 15 hours --> it must really be good music!")
but perhaps that's not all of it, and I will give it another try.. after all it really was our soundtrack for the break!:)
i think u would like dispatch.
Haha, "Hey Juliet" was (is) totally a guilty pleasure of mine.
PS - Long time no talk...hope you're doing well! Word on the street is that you'll be spotted around New York soon :) Woot.
