Nerdy Nightmare

Last night I had a nightmare, a recurring nightmare that has plagued me for years. This is how it goes. I find myself in my high school building, several familiar faces and classrooms. But I realize as I'm sitting in the class and listening, that I've somehow forgotten to do my homework. Then the course ends and I begin looking for my next course, but I realize that I don't even know my course schedule. So I begin wandering from classroom to classroom trying to find my class while the clock ticks down. Soon, I'm running through the halls of my high school frantically worried that I'm missing a critical lecture and forgetting more homework assignments.

I run faster and faster and until finally I wake up and the concerns of missed lectures and forgotten homeworks fade away.
