summer in the city.

Yesterday I arrived in the big city. That's right: the BIG APPLE, Manhattan, Gotham, "the city" (from Sex and the City), New York City. I've decided that I can't let this summer in the city go to waste, so I'm beginning to accumulate a list of things I MUST DO before leaving:

1. Run through Central Park
I live only like 5 blocks from Central Park, so it would be terrible if I didn't take a jog through the park at least once. Most of you know that I'm not a runner, but I figure I have to do it. There is a running scene in just about every movie filmed in NYC.

2. Get Lost in NYC
With my directional sense, this won't be difficult at all.

3. Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge
This just seems like a cool thing to do. I've heard that it's really nice at night, as long as I don't get mugged.

4. Go to Ellis Island
It's such a historic place, I think that a trip to the island would be well worth it.

5. Watch a Musical
M... I'm thinking like Lion King, Rent, Phantom, Mama Mia.

Feel free to offer more suggestions. In the mean time, I have to get ready for work, TOMORROW!
